Department of Computer Applications in association with Ambedkar Study Center celebrated 136th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on 15th April 2026. The program commenced with lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries and the students. Principal Dr. Balu L addressed the students of BCA and MCA and emphasized the importance of equality among all of the human beings.

Ambedkar Study centre and NSS Unit jointly organize the celebration of 135 th Birth Anniversary
of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.He was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer and political leader
who chaired the committee that drafted the Constitution of India .The celebration began with the
lightening of Lamp followed by Principal speak on ambedkar.

The Department of B.Com and BBA-Student Activity Cell (Sanchalana) organized "Dr.
BR Ambedkar Jayanthi" on 14 April 2021. The scheduled time for the program was
9:30 AM. The inauguration speech was given by Prof.H P Srinivas, Dept. of Kannada
and followed by very Insightful speech by our beloved Principal Dr.NagarajShenoy,
DSCASC. A detailed speech on importance of celebrating and remembrance of Dr. B
R Ambedkar Jayanthi was given by Prof.Srinivas H.P and Prof.Umesh M.R, Dept. of
