Dayanand Sagar College of Arts, Science and Commerce, under the flagship of Dayanand Sagar Institutions have exclusive and unique vision committed to enrich and submit to society socially progressive and responsible individuals. The Institution follows a holistic developmental approach to nurture the students to fit into any challenging and complex world. DSI is equipped with state-of- the-art lecture rooms, computer laboratory and enriched library, ultra-modern sports complex including Gymnasium. Department of Masters of Commerce as a whole strives to achieve the objectives of Institution and adopts strategies to nurture students to industry fit, entrepreneurship and teach to commit themselves to society well being and develop as socially responsible citizens.
It is a honor to work as Head of the Department of M.Com which is unique to itself started from 2011. The course is offered only for under graduate commerce students for enrolment as per Bangalore University, after their Masters degree they are called expertise of commerce subjects which no other course offers. The course is blended with certificate courses, programs, special lectures, community engagements, competitions and value added programs to meet the requirement of industry and entrepreneurship. Field visit, Industrial visit, workshops, cultural, sports; intercollegiate competitions are some more activities which add to their knowledge to emerge as dynamic individuals.
The Department in association in support to placements division organizes workshop to enhance the skills in aptitude, English, mathematics, Current affairs. The Placement Centre provides pre-placement training in soft skills to all students to enable them to apprise to the modern corporate requirements in association with CIL - Centre for Innovation & Leadership and HR Division. The Alumni’s from the department are our pride representing in various Corporate. Students are our ambassadors; we welcome all students to be a part of our journey.
