Welcome to Department of Commerce and Management

I welcome you to the Bachelor of Science (PCM) program at Dayananda Sagar College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bengaluru. The B.Sc. (PCM) program was established in 1978. Backed by highly-qualified and devoted teachers and supportive non-teaching staff members it provides a strong platform to mold each individual's overall personality, besides building academic knowledge and grooming the right attitude. The college engages students through different learning styles with personalized feedback on their academic progress and provides a pleasant atmosphere to nurture the hidden talents in students. They are encouraged to participate in various curricular as well as extra-curricular activities. The college has spacious classrooms, fully fledged and well-equipped three laboratories and a well-stocked library. All the Faculties are engaged in research on cutting-edge areas and are merited with high-quality publications from reputed publishers. The department is following State Education Policy (SEP) and National Educational Policy (NEP) guidelines wherein the students will be undergoing a continuous process of learning, assessment, and evaluation which facilitates the students not only to abreast the knowledge in their subject areas but also to study some non-selected subjects also of their choice. In addition to academic activities, the department organizes conferences/seminars/workshops/ special lectures, etc. for the benefit of the students. The department is committed to providing a student-centered environment and the college is dedicated to education covering a broad spectrum.
